The program proved so popular following President Obama’s 2011 people-to-people travel initiative it ran weekly – enabling regular Americans to visit on their vacation schedules. Now that America and Cuba are friends again, our economical Introduction to Cuba Tour fills up 52 times a year.

Cuba’s big! Its land mass is 42,426 square miles – about 80 percent the size of Alabama. Cuba is nearly as large as Louisiana, and larger than Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Ohio or Indiana. Altogether it’s bigger than Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont combined.

Day 1 – Saturday :: Say hello to Cuba!

  • Arrival at Havana’s José Martí International airport
  • Meet your tour guide and bus driver
  • Transfer to your hotel in Havana
  • Check-in to hotel and welcome cocktail

Day 2 – Sunday :: Getting to know Old Havana and its people

Day 5 – Wednesday :: History, Arts, and Cuban Society Today

  • Seafood lunch at the private studio of acclaimed Cuban artist José Fúster
  • Tour Bellas Artes, museum of Cuban art

  • Dinner at the private restaurant Destino. Diners rage about this new elegant eatery located in a beautiful house in Miramar. Eat indoors, or on its back terrace.

Day 6 – Thursday :: Amazing Las Terrazas, the natural splendor of rural Cuba
